OH WOW...

 How cool is this! From my new phone....which so far....I ABSOLUTELY hate having some buyers  remorse at least I understood my dumb phone! Ha ha

OH HAVE I GOT A STORY FOR YOU....

Well mid June I got a temp job at a packing place, packing game card for a certain "yellow" guy...It's an hour away from home and a van takes us there...anyway...I have learned muck from the other temps that come and go...like: Where to buy and sell stocks....bit coin and how they pay you(?). ALL about the "Illuminati" "Masons" and all conspirtory  theories known to man...and that was all from one man....he talked ALOT about money and how to make it.....my thought....DUDE.. you are working second shift for a temp service making $12.50 an hour.....if you know so much WHY???...Any way not my business...good thing he did not return the next day...sheesh....any way July I came down with covid.....had a two week vacation that I cannot afford....trying to save my house...behind on property taxes...was paying 130.00 a week but with the covid thing   cant....and I also found out I cannot stand all day...back pain....not alot of companies have jobs for people who are all crippled I guess....so I will have to try and get a telemarketer job or something...good luck with that with no experience...so now job is not as busy..so they are going to try to get me on first shift...hope so...so I can look for other work sitting down...

WOW ...WE ARE IN FOR A HOT ONE....

Wow if it is this HOT this early..we are in for a very VERY hot summer.....beginning of June and already have over 5 days of 90* and HUMID ugh.

still no word on a job....tried for walmart again...tried to take the "assessment" test....no next button...sheesh....was not in the mood to chat with the automated system.....maybe  next trip to the library.

went to a birthday party Saturday was nice got to see "people"   lol

OMG...THE FRUSTRATION...

WOW....my whole life is in the shitter....found out I do not get unemployment...because I broke a policy ...something about resident respect..and I did so my fault...lesson learned. 

my CNA license expired after I was let go....have to have a rtefresher course on that ...even tho it only expired 19 day ago...sucks. 

have been applying every where. tried walmart...failed that stupid assessment test they have you take....good to know I am too stupid to work at walmart.

WELL...I DID IT THIS TIME.....

Well I got myself fired....so humiliating....anyway...nasty church lady in here words..."took care of business" ....A few months ago me and the church lady got into a "disagreement" she would not let me in her apartment for at least a month and a half. I finally got to go in and we had a nice talk. everything was fine (boss knew about this argument) ....well we got a new "boss" and she got wind of this when she came to visit and well the next day I was notified I had been terminated....I think the new boss thought the disagreement was recent.....not 4 months ago. 
Anyway.....I did sign up for unemployment and have been searching for a job which is very frustrating.....this is one of the few times I have regretted not knowing how to drive. I have $1.00 and some change to my name......I don't have the time money or inclination to learn...too many nut cases out there for me.  I might just go back to factory work.

OMG!!! THE PAIN.......

OMG!!!  I found out I have a "little" bit of arthritis in my left knee....If that is a "little" bit of arthritis someone is chopping off my left leg BEFORE it becomes "big" arthritis.....OMG the pain....I thought I was a tough cookie but.....oh just shoot me now...I say I was a tough cookie because I guess I broke my left foot and didn't bat an eye...never knew it...I had to have my feet x-rayed for some thing quite a few years ago and the radiologist asked me when I broke my left foot....of course I had to look at her like she had a third eye and said I didn't and she said yes you did, right here and she showed me.....she said it would never break there again...lol....told her I had no idea...AND to top it all off I have a "pinched sciatic nerve"  😒 (right side)that also hurts....very bad...I have missed quite a bit of work because of it (nerve and knee) to but physical therapy is doing wonders for the nerve and cortisone is doing wonders for the knee....and I found out from the therapist...I have "weak hips"  LOL 
    I also found out don't go to urgent care if you want to live...Just sayin  The last time my knee acted up I went to urgent care for it because I didn't want to clog up the ER because my knee hurt......I will NEVER make that mistake again......I waited....are you sitting?  FIVE FREAKEN HOURS .....to find out they could do NOTHING for me...(they were nice enough to fix it so I would not get a bill when they found out how long I waited, which I thought was nice....and my poor friend Dennis who took me to urgent care insisted I go to the ER (at a different hospital) so I did waited 20 min......to hear them say ....Get this...OH we don't do orthopedic stuff here.....WHAT?!?!?!?! What happens if you break a bone??? refused to be seen so no bill from there either....but at least it was 20 min NOT 5 hrs.

We have had our first snow of the season barely a trace supposed to get mort sometime today....I do have to find one of those thingy's for the end of your cane with the claws on it for the ice....hopefully I won't need the "stick" for long..better safe than sorry tho.

LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO BE PERPETUALLY PISSED OFF......

Well it is....I see this guy on the bus every once in a while and every time he is just pissed off at the world for one reason or another and everything in between....and lets the entire bus know about it...The smart ass in me wanted to ask him "who peed in your Cheerios this morning?"But I held my tongue. Can't be to careful nowadays. Thankfully I don't see him a lot.

Well garage roof is done!  Pretty green shingles....Garage is painted..."Elegant Charcoal" (LOL Med Gray) foundation is painted the same color.....and still have pait enough to paint the entire neighbor hood!!  LMAO  I bought 15 gallons....I had no idea it would take less that 5 gallons to pain the garage,after all it is a big two car garage...anyway and may be another 3 to do the foundation of the house.I had to do some "foundation fixin too had to figure out how to get the mortar in the cracks ...you know they make that stuff in a caulk form!! ..that isn't easy to do either! I also have to put some new window glazing on my basement windows cant wait to find out how bad I am at that...lol I need to get some green paint to do them (windows) (ONE gallon ought to do it..lol) I will eventually do my front porch also..... (And will prolly still have paint left lol) Grand total...$3119.00....👀 . All I have left on the official notice is the garage door need to be fixed.

OHHHHHH YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS.......

Well..you remember my last post.....about the "bulky refuse" WELL let me tell you what they did now.....I got a letter I need to paint my garage......remove the gutters...fix/replace garage doors.....and replace the roof .......by 8/01....**^&%^$#$%&. Oh and paint the foundation on my house.....sigh....I guess it was a blessing I broke my wrist and got a somewhat nice settlement.....

Oh and its still fricken raining...

I HATE PEOPLE........(WELL SOME...)

WELL I wish I could find the Yahoos that keep dumping their garbage in the back by my garage.....someone had dumped two QUEEN sized mattresses and from my vantage point out my kitchen windows the looked like they were across the alley from me.....anyway (5/1) I get a lovely "blue" notice from the city to "remove the bulky refuse" from your premises within 24 hours or you will be fined....SOOOOOO I get on the horn and call everyone I know "do you know anyone with a truck?   All no's (I think everyone should know someone with a truck but...I have no control over that..lol)...anyway the next day I get home and there is a lovely "pink" notice on my door stating that I needed to remove "the bulky refuse" from my property or get fined $50.00....I am thinking to myself ok come get the damn "bulky refuse" and bill me....simple...(this was 5/2) okay....5/3 I get a letter in the mail......you need to get rid of the "bulky refuse" or you will be charged $295.00+ for a private contractor to remove it ........(mouth drop)...so I am back on the horn.....my neighbor "informed me that the city came and got it and said they were doing a "FREE"picking up of unwanted refuse...............SIGH

So this has been the main drama at Mel's house....other tahn that not much going on we had a nice day yesterday 76* today back to rain and cold but tha is Wisconsin for you supposed to rain all this week.....again.....

OHHH I joined a gym....march 8th...I go 3 days a week...ain't lost a stinkin pound.....lol but I know I am gaining muscle because my pants are fitting looser...workin on me some biceps!! Also my core muscles...(I don't think I have any of those yet.....lol

WELL....HOPE EVERYONE SURVIVED CHRISTMAS....

Hi everyone..hope you survived Christmas and New Years! My Thanksgiving wasn't bad...no dinner at the "Midwest Center" I found out that is for Christmas ...lol....I was going to go for Christmas but the buses run on their holiday (Sunday) schedule and I get off work several hours before they started serving....and just got lazy..and stayed home. The Sunday bus schedule really sucks....

The weather here has been great up until Tuesday....now it is way cold...was in the 50's!!!!!!!!! was nice for January. 

I did get Thanksgiving for breakfas the following morning...lol The 'Church Lady' fed me! 

I found out after new year that one of the residents I used to take care of passed away....very sad loved her to bits. I wish I had known she was in the hospital I would have gone to see her for sure.

Well That's about all that's up in my world...

A NEW UPDATE...

Hi Everyone...Hope you all have a great and safe Thanksgiving!
I will be headed out to the "Midwest" Center for Thanksgiving..it's free and I won't have to sit and be alone...or cook...lol so anyway....

We will be getting a new Bus driver in January I think that's when they change things up....you know schedules...drivers, that kinda thing ...well the diver who takes over for the guy on the 53 in the early morning is going to have some big shoes to fill....LOL we riders in the early mornings have become "accustomed" to a certain amount of "entertainment" in the morning...This driver is sooooo funny....most days he has the whole bus ( there are at least 7 of us that are regulars) in stitches...

I now have a 20lb weight limit.....don't have to go to PT anymore....boo hoo.......lol  That was like social hour for me....anyway next appointment..12/4.....

WELL HELLO!

Hi all!  well it is certainly good to be back at work. Now up to a five lb. weight limit!  oh the joys....LOL. Anyway...Not much going on here not even a good bus story.....still going to therapy twice a week... social hour for me I have a student that takes care of me when I go in she is so sweet.....she is a fraid to hurt me tho....lol.  The "church Lady" (whose apartment I fell in) is constantly telling me Meryl (she  renamed me) please slow down watch that cord.....lol

WELL....I AM HEALING VERY WELL...

So well I am back at work...with a one pound weight limit. WOO HOO....lol. I have therapy 2 times a week...what fun the best thing about that is the "dry sauna" 15 min in that and it feels wonderful! That is a machine that is filled up with some kinda fluffy stuff and it gets going with some blowing hot air. Then some exercising,then she rubs lotion on my scar which is hardly noticeable!
Of course when I got back to work the hours were cut to 3 hrs a day..and four on sat and Sunday two hours in the morning 7:30 am - 9:30 am  then...3:00 - 5:00 pm....sucks on Sunday buses run nasty.  
Weather here still sucks  HOT HUMID NASTINESS and OMG!! the rain....have a bumper crop of weeds in the back yard, don't know when I will be able to mow with the bad paw. My neighbor next door did it for me earlier.

Well anyway  that's whats up in my world...

WELL....I SURVIVED...

I got a plate and ELEVEN....yes...I said ELEVEN screws!!! Had the surgery on June 27th.....and it really wasn't as bad as I thought...The surgeon called the next day and asked me if I remember talking after surgery....I'm like...ummm...no...He said I asked to see the x-rays.....LOL...I remember nothing...The first thing I remember is someone sticking a pill in my mouth and giving me some water....lol. ....NOW here is the bad news....on July 18th I was pulling up my sock w/ my brace on....and got a sharp pain in the wrist....didn't last to long went about my business ...post office...food store....came home and discovered my left thumb was no longer working right ☺sooo the next day called surgeon...had an ultra sound MRI is out because of the hardware. I guess what happens sometimes when you break a wrist real bad is sometimes a tendon gets frayed...leave it to me....I will be asking the Hand surgeon he is a different than the wrist guy...what would be the consequences if I DON'T have the surgery..if is going to give me any issues a few years from now, because right now I just can't lift it when my hand is flat on the table and can't make a thumbs up sign👍 , and have some difficulty tying my shoes....anyway I will keep you posted...I see the hand surgeon tomorrow.

Weather has improved at least humidity wise.

WELL....I WILL NEVER...

take my left hand for granted again.....lol.. I guess you don't appreciate a limb until you lose the use of it.... me being right handed  I was thankful it was my left wrist that was broken. Never realizing WHAT your non-dominant hand actually does. Well I did survive surgery....I have hardware now...and turns out I only broke my radius... and it split the long way  hence the hardware, hurt like hell the first day or two after that its not to bad,at least my fingers are ALMOST normal sized now. I have a follow up on July 11 cannot wait to get this bandage OFF!!!
     We have also been having the heat wave from hell the last 4 days..OMG!! soo hot and humid..temps in the mid nineties and 
'feels' like temps into the triple digits...and I do not have ac....the only reason  I am out and about today is because Ma Nature was kind enough to give the heat wave a rest for a bit.

anyway what most shocks me is the lack of empathy from my so called friends....not all of them but my friend cj came over and did some dishes for me and some cooking. next door neighbor came over to see if I needed something, another friend picked me up and took me to her house and gave me a shower (I cannot reach the left side of my body....lol)

WELL WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS.....

Well....I fell and broke my left wrist....thank goodness it was not my right...lol. I was rushing around trying to get my residents clothes in the washer but she needed more was tokens...so she handed me the money and my foot got caught on her phone cord....and down I went....broke both ulna and radius....and they seem to think I tore up some ligaments too...tossing the idea o\f surgery around...please no....and the worst...I hurts worse than when I broke my foot years ago....maybe just getting old...lol.

WELL.....LOL STILL NO HOT WATER....

Well....been way over a month....I have just decided I will prolly never have hot water again.....I have the water heater....just no one to put it in...lol  Did make a call to newly found nephew.....I don't remember tellin you guys about that or not....I'll have to look....he does handyman/remodeling stuff...I take my showers in the building where I work....one of my residents lets me use her shower or one of the other residents who has 'adopted me' lets me use hers too....

Weather here is crazy...end of May was COLD/RAINY....COLD....COLD/RAINY....HOT .....It is a bit better now but sheesh....I guess it's better than -20 and snow...so I will shut up about it....lol.

Why the heck do people do the things they do....If you have a problem being... 
touched,
breathed on,
bumped into,
talked to,
looked at.....
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STAY THE FUCK OFF THE BUS!!!!! For your own sanity.... 
the bus drivers sanity.....
and for the sanity of ALL passengers on that bus!!!
BUY A CAR! If you can't afford one walk..simple...
4 people in the past two weeks have gotten on the bus and chewed people out because they were bumped into...touched....etc...

Finally got my lawn mowed...(you know my fav job..NOT)
my back yard was waist high!!!!!!!!  OMG!!! had to weed wack it first....took me 20 fraken minutes to figure out how to put the stupid string in....LMAOO
Any way got to pooped out so at least got the front mowed and weed wacked the back and two days later my sweetie pie neighbors finished the back for me!

WELL GUESS WHO IS BACK!!!!!

Well hello everyone....if there is any one left to read this......It certainly has been a while...I got way too many stories for you guys...Well 'puter still down it was supposedly "fixed" by best friends hubby.....he just got me a different 'puter....NONE of my pictures or anything were transferred...so I hit the library still...finally figured out how to log on here forgot my stupid password. hehehehe.

Any way me and bestie had a 'disagreement' back in August '17 and I hung up on her. and she will not call you back if you hang up on her.....I am also being very stubborn but some times Ya know..ya just gotta. I miss her dearly but cannot be made to feel like that again....to me it is just not worth it. She is a wonderful person.

I am getting more hours at work now...I work 36 hrs a week now instead of nine....which is way better for the paycheck! 

My water heater went...'NO MORE HOT WATER FOR YOU" about a month ago....damn prices on them went up....last time I needed one it cost $179.00.....this time $363.79...ON SALE!!!!! and not to mention almost $100.00 for delivery!!  AND...still not hooked up....luckily loads of people that live in the building I work in love me!!  :) and let me use their shower till I get my heater hooked up. 

Brother #1 had cancer...it is gladly gone now!

Quilt Lady put a scare into me again...passed out....then later in the day I found out she fell (not on my watch) sometime Saturday morning...she came home from church in pain...thought it was from the fall ...turns out..UTI...she took a trip to hospital.she is fine,although she did go back to hospital today..she came back already tho.
Chruch Lady is ok too she did have a hissy fit because one Thursday (her cleaning day) I could not do her cleaning because I had to leave early cause we had 'in-service'  so now I can't split her housework to 2 days.....she never had a problem before...but now she does...If I get that old and crabby some one shoot me please?
