GUESS WHAT I DID YESTERDAY!

We are learning injections now WOOT!! I gave myself a shot..lmao insulin shot..they are given in the belly so you can do those yourself..alot of the ladies in class were like don't watch!! (we used sterile saline) I tried giving a fellow classmate in the upper arm but let go of her skin before I injected...lol..needle came right out..oops! Amy (our instructor) let me give her one and I did good! We now know WHY they teach the blood draw first....after the "harpoon" you use for that shots are easy...lol! the only hard part is getting the liquid from the vial into the syringe....they made that look sooooo easy on ER...lol.......It's not........vial wobbles. and getting the air out is also a pain in the butt...(need to get the bubbles ou because takes up space for the drug and dose may be off)
anyway.......that's all the excitement around here for now....

OH MY WHAT A ROTTEN LAST FEW DAYS........

1. Favorite Aunt in hospital.......
2. friends funeral.........One of those people you don't expect to die so soon...
3. another friend passed.....
4. got math in school....BLECH

Well...so much for that...other than that not much going on.....no school on Sat. yay!!
Weather is good.....AND had to take bus home from school today......got to the bus stop as bus was 20 feet away....PAST ME.......(*&^%&$%$%.......but picked me up when he turned around...I thought he went out a different exit...but I was wrong.......thank goodness....would have been an hour and 45 minute wait for the next one.....!!!!!

Well that's about it for now school is going well had first test in lab tonight...urine..lol think I did ok. got a B on my first psychology test and a B on my clinical's test..passed my comps for ear irrigation..and ear instillation (ear drops) and eye instillation....(eye drops)

HERE GOES.....MY 300TH POST!

FINALLY!!! Some cooler weather......bit cooler than I would have wanted but........yesterday it rained..finally...not alot but had to happen while I was out-n-about...with of course no umbrella....go figure..had to go to Walgreens for my second HEP B shot.....(I may Be back on shot one have to call the health department to be sure)..I got the "first" one 4/29/11, but being unemployed and limited funds couldn't get the second one after a month...$99.99 a shot ya know...anyway got that done yesterday.....finally go check for reimbursement for school stuff..uniforms and the like...The people you see...PEOPLE if you are over the age of...say 40 and you have chicken legs.......DO NOT WEAR SPANDEX LEGGINGS.....sheesh...those thing should not be worn by them....little old lady had to be in her 60's....sheesh... and SKINNY MEN....DO NOT WEAR SKINNY LEGGING JEANS... NOT becoming at ALL...makes you look like a DORK.
