MY WEEK THIS WEEK........

Well another week goes by......You know...It's like one big day.....I don't even look forward to the weekend anymore :( ( shoot me now......) Wednesday I went to another ball game .....was way to hot to enjoy....and we lost 10-2 sheesh........and the people I went with...new sister-in-law to be (brother #1 getting married next year) and her daughter and her boyfriend he was bothered by a drunk that was sitting next to him.......s-i-l had a headache......and I have no idea what was up with her daughter..prolly p-o'ed at boyfriend.....that's it...no more being nice...lol S-I-L did call up later and apologised and said thank you again.....



I was SUPPOSED to go to a "trade act program orientation" on Tuesday...but seeing my days all blend into one now I showed up on Thursday....I did get it rescheduled......for August 4th......I think I (we) get extra benefits of some sort because I (we) lost our jobs to another country....Today was the last day of work for many of the union workers there.....Very sad day....but some of them not all but....were just about ready to retire...the was one lady there.....she started in 1945!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is 89....go home...lol


The new baby "Ozzy" is doing ok..him and Floyd have "come to terms" with each other......Floyd hissed at him and he laid right down...lol.....they have chased each other..Floyd got to annoyed one day and smacked him upside the head one morning...lol

My week went ok.......went to lunch at "The Horny Goat" I know funny name...but the food is FABULOUS!! I was supposed to meet a few other laid off workers that I worked with...but only me and my friend Pat showed up.....Oh well...I had a great visit with him...We got to talking about one of the girls I invited to come with us...and I told him we will prolly never hear from her again....he said..you think so? I said..yea All the years I have known her I have NEVER heard her mention a girlfriend or anybody else she may have hung out with...just her hubby..He said come to think of it neither have I. I thought it was quite sad myself...so did he...friends enrich your life so much...whether you have met them or not..I consider all of you my friends....
The pic below is of the "outside" bar....it's right on the river...wonderful atmosphere friendly staff.........The owner must have spent MILLIONS! He has a vollyball court and put in docks on the river side..great place!


This was my lunch....coconut shrimp....(appetizer really but..I also ate 1/2 of Pat's lol) this was served with some kinda mango salsa....OMG!!! make your eyes roll back in your head it was sooooo good! and some Asian dipping sauce..yum.....

This was Pat's appetizer lunch.....cheesy tater tots....OMG!!!!! Again...so good make your eyes roll back in your head...they are the big triangular tater tots..with their homemade beer cheese sauce...(sooo good) made with horny goat beer (they also make their own beer....several different kinds.....) and with some roasted pepper something on top with I think it was garlic ranch sauce...and fried strips of tortillas sooooo good

we had a bad storm.. the next day........nice sky huh? and it was only late afternoon....6 pm maybe

(July 23) -- A man was rescued from a sinkhole in Milwaukee, asking "What happened?" after his Cadillac Escalade plummeted into the a chasm that opened up during a deluge.


A man was rescued from a sinkhole in Wisconsin after his Cadillac Escalade plummeted into a giant hole in the middle of the road, which was caused by extensive flooding.

Lance , 25, said he was driving his new Escalade down the road when he noticed something odd: "The streetlight was just, like, underground," he told AOL News in a phone interview today. said he didn't have much time to process what he was seeing. "I was trying to comprehend it," he said. "Then the road just collapsed under me." he fell about 20 feet into the hole and lost consciousness for a few seconds because of the force of the impact. When he opened his eyes, all he could see was mud, telephone wires and water rushing at him from out of a sewage pipe. "I thought, 'I'm either going to get electrocuted or drown,' so I knew I needed to get out," he said. The Milwaukee resident had climbed out the window of his SUV when a man standing above the gaping hole offered him a much-needed hand.Mark , 46, says he reached over the edge of the growing sinkhole and helped pull the driver onto solid ground by his belt loop.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, though T says his new Escalade is totaled. The car remained in the sinkhole Friday afternoon in drive, and had not yet run out of gas. But sinkholes weren't the only problem in Milwaukee on Thursday night, when wild weather wreaked havoc. The torrential downpour flooded homes and streets, and forced General Mitchell International Airport to close until noon today, WBAY 2 reports. Two people were struck by lightning.Still more rain is on the way for Milwaukee today, and the National Weather Service has issued flash flood warnings for the already sodden area.

HE IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!Roomies new baby!!! she named him Ozzy.....he is just the cutest thing...Floyd ...well...he is NOT happy with the "new addition" he has gone upstairs and will not come down..he is scared to death of the 4 month old kitten...lol

She adopted him from a no kill shelter called second hand purrs....the sweetest baby....

Floyd also has another hematoma (spelling) on his ear...sheesh...and an ear infection...so not a happy boy...not feeling good...new thing in the house, poor baby

GROSS GROSS GROSS.........turns out it is a "green crab spider" most commonly found in KENTUCKY.......Guess where I am NOT going.........it was not very big but it made up for it in grossness...EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

I had a great time and I do have four more tickets for July 28th...same seats!!

We ate at the NYCE club at the ball park.....I WON'T be eating there again.....$12.00 for a cheese burger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it wasn't all that good either! $3.50 for a soda I was going to have the "buffet" till I found out it was $38.00!?!?!?!?!?! NOT. It's cheaper to eat at the concession stands...better food too....

Even tho we lost 9-3 I had a great time There are still more pics too.....so maybe I'll post some every once in a while...lol

I bought some new bath towels for myself today....Roomie went "kitty" shopping today...She went to a place called "Second hand Purrs" and picked out a 4 month olf baby boy...will get pics of the new boy when he is delivered....they do a background check and all that stuff BEFORE they give you your baby....and deliver it so they can kinda "check the place out" so to speak....make sure you're not a hoarder or something....lol...

Well I'm off to a brewers game today...not a big baseball fan..but hey free tickets..I'll go! Will be taking my camera so pictures to follow.... Not much else has been happening...cooled off a bit after yesterday's storm...Kenosha got over 3 1/2 inches of rain in an hour...yipes!

The food bank had a small flood in the basement......there go the clean white shoes...lol.....they didn't get to bad...

Let;s see what I occupied my self with this week....not much Tuesday was the worst... Wednesday I didn't do to much, had P.T. in the morning,then off to the food bank,got a bit of reading in.....have devoured another novel...and started on a third..lol....I think I can get used to this...lol. finished the one I was reading....(6th target) finished 7th heaven same author....and started 8th confession...Yesterday I went and sat by my friend Anna..she had a knee replaced...took some pics of her garden,she and her hubby have a beautiful yard..with a great pond..and pretty flowers..
I had a pretty good day today...last P.T. appointment for my poor shoulder....last Dr. Appointment for it......went and had breakfast...at a diner that isn't worth a mention here..lol.
And while I was eating my tracfone rang.....scared the c*** outta me....I rarely get calls on it....and I hear MEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I replied PAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he asked what was I doing I told him having breakfast,,,and he said...aww wanted to know if you wanted to meet for coffee at Stone creek I can still meet you..I'm right there...he said give me a half hour ok...I said great!! So we had a nice visit.....haven't seen him since he got the "AX" 7 weeks ago...then came home for a bit and went downtown to pay my property taxes....and drum roll.....I GOTS NEW SHOES!!! No more steel toed!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I had to put my pink laces in that I got at the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" kick off breakfast in March..lol
