OK...WOW   a whole month......anyway...got the insurance taken care of......will be paying LESS than I do now!!  
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!  I had to work....actually I normally don't work Thursday's but I volunteered to take over for the other lady because she has family ....I would just be alone anyway!  I was feed good! I will do the same for Christmas!   

I was DISCONNECTED!! TWC gets a bit "testy" if you don't pay the bill.....LOL  a week and a half WITHOUT internet!!   I lived to tell ...lol


Anyway not much going on in my world...will write again soon....gotta go...Rudolf is on!!

and..to lazy to clean a fry pan.....was going to do it anyway and realized I did not have any oil.....so now I am waiting on the oven.......pork chops!

I had a slip up in the smoking department.....I will be back to non-smoking tomorrow.....(stress from insurance notice I'm thinking)

I really cannot wait for Nov. 8th so we can get this stupid election over with I am so sick of it....We are screwed with whoever wins

WELL......I THOUGHT I WAS CONFUSED BEFORE.....

Well I thought i was confused BEFORE I watched that second debate.......WOW .....really?! Those are our choices?  I didn't realize Bill Clinton was running again...........?  Trump bringing up "The rapes" those should have been taken care of YEARS AGO by the women who were victimized......not saved up later for other uses. he did a bad thing...get over it....he is  probably  NOT the only president who got a blow job in the oval office either...or the first to cheat on his wife.... Mr.Trump is not much better.....Honestly does he really think that that is Just "locker" talk?.....and his FIRST  priority will be to get a "special" prosecutor to put Hillary in jail?  Of all the other problems in this country....That's his first priority?????  I tell ya I am so aggravated...It ain't funny...Wisconsin Senate race is not any better....I wish candidates would tell you WHY you should vote for THEM instead of WHY I should NOT vote for the other...and those third party commercials make it even worse.....

Anyway  I got my A1C checked on the 10th.....It went up...only one point....6.8......not to bad considering I have been out of meds since June.....I expected it to go up a lot more than that. I need to call Dr. tho..he prescribed the wrong form of Metformin for me...he gave me 500mg of ER 2xday I was taking 1000mg 2xday the ER stuff does NOTHING  for me....chore for tomorrow.....

Weather has been cooling off quite nicely cold front supposed to come through sometime tonight I hope it don't rain too much I have to mow my freaken lawn...I hate mowing the lawn.....I hate it with a passion....If I could make my back yard all cement I would...lol.

DAY 103..........

DAY 103!!!!   I did weaken a bit one day last week and had one......did nothing for me...... It has finally cooled off enough for me to hopefully start walking again....I feel like a bloated pig... I have gained so much weight back,,GRRRRR  I am still considering joining a gym...but then I have to ask myself..would I really go....I did go to Planet Fitness with a friend as a guest....I did like it but...no one was particularly friendly everyone has their earbuds in.....and the lockers are WAY small....try stuffing a winter coat made by Omar the tent maker in one.....and a work-out bag and what I call my "old Lady bag".......and winter boots...etc.

My old lady bag is a bag that I carry to and from work holds my lunch....a book....my umbrella...bus schedules....and anything else that I have to get to and from work.....I always thought my Stepmom was a nutcase cause she ALWAYS had to have that extra ...OMG!!!  I'M OLD!!  WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?!?!?!?!?

Not fair!!  I am only 51!!!! 

Anyway.....not much else goin on here  I do have a bus stop story tho.....

SOME PEOPLE IN THIS CITY HAVE POPPED A CIRCUIT OR SOMETHING...

Ok ...went on my little mini vacation...the wedding was beautiful!  Weather was almost perfect....slightly hotter than it needed to be but still bearable...

I was supposed to be a "surprize" for Amanda she did not know I was coming but her Dad accidentally let it slip Saturday morning That I was there....I had a great visit and a nice trip....

Got home Sunday afternoon and got the news Tuesday that one of their dogs went over the "Rainbow Bridge" 

This is sweet Jake...I think he was 8 yrs old. 

Anyway Saturday night on the News I found out about the rioting in Milwaukee over a police officer shooting  an "armed" man .....REALLY PEOPLE? ...You are going to burn up and loot your OWN community because a black officer, shoots a black thug with a stolen gun and a record as long as your arm...... I just don't get it...and they were in the streets yelling beat up all the white people......~~~~SIGH~~~

DAY 80!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOO HOOO!!!!

WOW!!  days  80 no smoking.....OK once in awhile I will have 2 puffs...not very often......My cousin thinks that's   "cheating"......I call it keeping my sanity....I'd call it cheating if I had a whole one.....difference of opinion....smells wonderful tastes like S**T....But anyway I think I am doing great!  

Weather here SUCKS...hot hot hot!  and HUMID....I could do without that.  I can't wait till the "ber"  months will be here next month....(can do without Decem"ber") but....

I will be skippen town this Thursday.....my cousin's daughter is getting married....goin all the way  to Portage.....Wisconsin.... I leave Thursday....cost me 4 days off work (without pay) but I really want to go so I am!  Will be my first Gay marriage.....as long as they are happy I am. 

The other day on the bus stop.....I am sitting on the  ground....the bench in the shelter broke (or someone stole it) and a guy comes up and...says can I ask you somethin....?  I said sure....him: I am trying to get on the bus...all I need is a quarter...I told him I don't carry cash....sorry....then he asked........(get this) Are you sure?  I'm like yup...I'm sure.......SIGH...Most of our bus drivers are cool and let you go a quarter short....I didn't just fall off the turnip truck.....


I haven't done alot of walking because of the heat but  I am holding my own....gained a few pounds...(nibbling from nothing in my fingers) I hope that settles...sheesh....

I am teaching myself how to make jewelry mostly earrings 

I sell them for $7.00 a pair....I really don't like to make necklaces tho...have not mastered the crimp tubes yet :(

WOOOOOO HOOOOOO DAY 42!!!!!

Well  day 42 and still NOT smoking.....I have noticed a few things I am NOT pleased with during this journey tho......

1. I thought things were supposed to taste better....Coffee from SA  (Speedway) was always the best tasting.....now..its just coffee...ehh.

2. I am breaking out with blackheads on my forehead...REALLY  not thrilled with that one.I have tried everything to get rid of them....blackhead scrub...Biore strips....picking at them....I now look like I have 3 eyes because of the sore in the middle of my forehead...

3. I STINK....yes....I stink...not OMG! you stink stink but I get a whiff every once in a while and ewwwww.....not a B.O. kinda stink but a peculiar odor....even after I take a bath..and have on all clean clothes.....

anyway.... Got my Georgia Peaches this year!!!  25 lbs of the best peaches in the Universe!!!!

Well let's see what torture was put on me in the last month since I wrote last......My washer broke......They decided to start paying us every two weeks now instead of weekly......currently between paychecks now.....I have no bread.....so off to the food bank I went....guess what.....they don't have any freaken bread either......what am I supposed to eat for lunch.......I will die ......been nice knowing you....GRRR.


I am out of my metformin.......ran out 4 days ago...numbers are still good so I am not freaking over it.......started walking again,finally warmed up enough to do so....even got a new walking buddy for Tuesdays and Thursdays!  still trying to take off what I put back on during the winter.....


OH...and day 5 no smoking.......NOT HAPPY.....but....I can't afford it anymore anyway....hopefully  I will succeed this time....we will find out Tuesday the 31 when I get blessed with a paycheck again...lol.  But the thing that is bugging me the most...I have NO ICE.....I like it in my water...I don't have any ice trays...I'd never be able to keep up with them anyway...lol I can go through at least 2 -7 pound bags in a week.....especially if it is hot outside. Like it is now...yes we went from cold directly to hot again this year.....hate when that happens..

"The Quilter" is working my last nerve......assisted her with another quilt last week.....according to her it was crosswise ( secret quilting word I guess...looked ok to me...lol) turns out the "top" was not big enough for the liner......(?)

Seen "the know it all" (the guy I no longer work for) Friday I said hi...he didn't respond Oh well....whatever......

WELL...QUIT SECOND JOB.......

Well....had to quit second job.....he popped a circuit or something....went in to visit him on Wednesday.....was "complaining" of all the things that were not being done......(?) this..and this and this....blah blah blah....I cleaned his house better than my own.....(there is another lady working for him too)....and then was complaining no one is washing his windows.....my first thought was.....you are blind!!  legally blind......your BLINDS are DOWN all the time....because the BRIGHT  light hurts your eyes (he can see some)....and says he can't see out of the windows.  REALLY?! Anyway....told him I would wash them on 
Friday,My next day to work he said something about my "tone"(?)......well come Friday I was not feeling great at all..so I called in (very rare for me) I called him to tell him I would not be coming in and he got an attitude with me  and said OH I seen THAT coming....(?)and hung up on me.  SOOOOO Saturday when I went in he said we have to have a talk.....You and "N" (the other lady) must of had a good talk on Wednesday....From now on you clean what you want to clean and if you don't want to clean don't .....Or did "N" call you and tell you all about it already....I told him she did NOT call me and he said OH I bet she did......which is to me the same as calling me a liar......I am many things but liar is NOT one of them....That's when I took his key off my keychain and tossed it on the counter and told him I QUIT......and let the door slam behind me........Anyway....I will miss the extra cash but I won't miss the stress...... I will still worry about him tho...he has trouble with his hand and has trouble cutting veggies and things.

On a positive note....I do have another part time job lined up...every other weekend....

I wish Spring would get here I AM FREEEEEEZING!!!!!!! Had to drag out the electric blanket. after I put it away.....

OH  Guess what!  I got my bathroom light fixed!!  WOOHOO!....Now hot bath and a good book!! HAPPY HAPPY! was broke for 4 years or so..LOL.

HI IT'S ME AGAIN.......

Well yes I am still alive....my residents are working my last nerve......especially "the quilter" She is a riot! She is 89 years old.....and still quilts by HAND!!!!! Pieces them together by hand and quilts them!  She is amazing....she had some Batting issues today so I had to help her straighten it out.....3 times...LOL....She was looking for me   and asked  "the know it all" where's that white lady? Apparently the last time we pinned the backing on I put it on upside down.....lol No she never remembers my name....

The "Church Lady" (aka  "the demented old bat") also...never remembers my name.....calls me Merl....she is normally the sweetest thing.....just don't piss her off.... ask how I know this...lol messed up her oatmeal one day..sheesh.

"The know it all" is my second job....he is ok..has hired two of us...and usually keep him company for two and a half hours...after the little work we have to do for him...

Then there is "The Artist" he is the youngest of the residents we take care of...he is AMAZING!! He is "physically challenged" he only calls if he needs dishes done or some veggies cut, he does his own cooking tho.
and he is an amazing artist..

Anyway...we had nice weekend weather last weekend! we had two days in the 50's!!!! Even took a nice long walk...from 27th street to 8th street....AND beat the bus home...LOL.

HELLO!!! YES I AM STILL HERE!

YUP!  Still here.....doing well. Winter finally showed up (darn) had VERY COLD  sub-zero weather for a week....burrr...You know the kind that makes your face hurt.....
I have gained a bit of weight..no walking..weather is just too cold...my numbers are still mostly good...anyway...

I am seriously thinking of joining a gym...and go after work for an hour or so....I am thinking Planet Fitness, seems reasonably priced and supposed to be a "judgement" free zone.....and NO LUNKS...LOL. 

My second job starts February 2nd!  so that will be a few extra bucks in my pocket.......

OH!!!!!!  and.....I finally got signed up for health insurance...WOOOOT!!! I will get a check up before I join the gym.

Anyway.....that's whats up in my world..
